Rachel Irene Garcia was born in Mesa, Arizona to Mary Baldenegro and Robert Garcia on January 6th 1987. She was born the second of three children; her twin brother Rene Alexander preceded her in death at birth. She is survived by partner in life Brandon Anthony Boyd and her two children Corrina Renee Garcia and Adrian Allen Boyd, as well as her maternal sister Valeria Garcia and younger paternal brother Robert Alexander Garcia.
Rachel’s last location of employment was at Bank of America where she worked as a Wealth Management Representative. In her most recent months she stopped working at her job to be closer to her children and finish her Bachelors Degree in Business. In her last days she was able to spend time playing with her children and visiting with family members.
On June 3rd Rachel Garcia was involved in a car accident while coming home from a local event. While proceeding home on the I10 freeway she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a tree off of 43rd Avenue. She was rushed to the St Josephs hospital where she was currently breathing on her own. While in Intensive Care her health continued to decline and on June 4th it was determined that she had passed away due to complication from brain injuries. Even until her last days Rachel was known for her contagious smile.
